MSPCC is currently recruiting Family Partners to work as part of a team providing Family Support and Training (FS&T) to parents and families of youth with significant mental health needs. Family Partners work in families’ homes and in the community to support parents and provide services that enhance their capacity to improve their child’s functioning.
Successful candidates must have:
ð Personal experience as a caregiver of a youth with mental health needs;
ð Experience in navigating major child serving systems (e.g. CBHI, DMH, DCF, DYS, juvenile probation, and school systems);
ð Experience teaching and supporting families;
ð A high-school diploma and a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with youth OR an associate’s degree in a human services field from an accredited school and one (1) year of experience working with youth OR a Bachelor’s degree in a human services field from an accredited university and one (1) year experience working with youth with SED and their families; and
ð A current valid driver’s license and an automobile with proof of auto insurance.
